Full Version: Can perfect health fix the body?...
HealthCastle.com Community > Health Castle Forums > Nutrition & Health Forum
Obstacle 1
ok... so.

Do you think perfect health for a long period of time can restore things... such as hair that has been lost? cholesterol blockages in the blood? and even build up in the lungs? I think it is possible to achieve two of those, but not the re-growing hair part. So I made a new years resolution and I plan to see if I can grow back my receded hairline, ( grow the hair back there). The thing is... I don't ever remember NOT having a receded hairline, but when I look at pictures of me when I was 9 I had no receded hairline at all... not even close. I am 20 now. So with all that said, I plan to try and re-grow that hair. Here is what I am doing...

Running:
-I run 4-5 days a week and I run 30-40 minutes straight, (without stopping). by the way, i am on my 4th week.

Multi-vitamins:
-I take MEN'S SPORT, which has 50 mg of the B vitamins. Two tablets a day.

Protein Shakes:
-I take whey protein which has 25 g of protein, I take 1 glass after I run. (I don't take any on days I don't run - it says to have 3 glasses a day or w/e but...)

Diet: This is where I struggle... My diet is trash mainly because my family is poor and stupid. All my parents buy is fat foods. I really only limit myself to having PBJ's and tuna sandwiches. I also don't know how the body works with food and if you guys could give me tips I'd appreciate it. (i have a job but my money goes towards car insurance and school so I am broke).

Water: I try to get as much as I can.. lately I feel like I am not getting enough so I just force myself to down a glass.

Does anyone think this may work? Oh and I am not looking for hair products that re-grow hair or anything. It would totally eliminate my goal's purpose which really is to see if it (the goal) ... works.

Hi Obstacle 1,

You should have selected your parents more wisely mate. No, seriously you have taken the first step in pursuing a healthy life, diet and exercise along with a healthy mind are essential ingredients. Gloria offers excellent tips every time HealthCastle comes on line, look back through the archives, and read the preceding health articles on this forum, be prepared to do a lot of work, you can not become a 5 minute expert, although I am sure there are a few on here. Do your homework on multi - vitamins and learn whats truth and what is merely hype (infomercials).

There is evidence to show that you can unblock arteries, but I am not sure about the lungs. Hair restoration is also a tough one.

you are still young so I think you might have a chance of being able to restore your hair. I am in my 20's as well and I remember when I was really stressed out last year I was starting to lose hair. However I was much more relaxed this year and my hair is now back to normal.
