Here is a link to an article from Fortune Magazine from 2004 in which the author---the editor in chief of the magazine---shows that virtually NO progress has been made by mainstream medicine toward curing cancer since the 1950's:

There ARE many ways, however, to fight cancer WITHOUT the damaging, ineffective methods of surgery, chemo"therapy" and surgery.

The article in Fortune Magazine comes to the conclusion that combining mainstream modalities is the key to curing cancer. I strongly disagree.
