I have a patient that gets cramps every night of his life, he has enough water in his system, fluids contain enough electrolytes, no electrolyte imbalance, sodium, calcium, potassium, chloride, magnesium etc. He is not suffering restless leg or muscular tetany, he does not have varicose veins, he does not train hard.
The cramps come out of the blue at night and occur in different muscle groups, he guards against getting cold, he is careful to only drink enough water to ensure that he does not wash out his electrolytes, he does not have atherosclerosis or muscle damage, what is his problem?
Cheers
