I've heard Accutane is the closest to a cure for acne. My acne isn't severe enough for accutane, but its quite bad and I feel I need something powerful and effective.

Good Question. Thanks! Exposed Acne Treatment, distributed through Exposed Skin Care, is a product between the collaboration of experts in dermatology and those in organic chemistry. Exposed can be used to clear existing acne cysts and to maintain disease-free skin. Exposed is mild enough for extra-sensitive skin, and has been proven to be hypoallergenic.

Acne is also affected by food which is hard to digest or that results in a sluggish digestive process. A sluggish digestive system gives rise to all sorts of skin disorders. It is necessary for people affected by acne to take care of their diet and consume as much plant-based, fiber-rich food as they can because it will not burden their digestive system and make metabolism easy. Acne-affected people should drink lots of water, have daily servings of colorful fruits and vegetables (which replenish different nutrients in body), have a tablespoon of cold-pressed seed oil daily, eat oily fish three times a week (to compensate essential fatty acids), eat plenty of whole grain, root vegetables, lentils and beans, and avoid alcohol and caffeine as much as possible.
A healthy diet helps the body in maintaining healthy skin. Although there is no direct relationship between adult acne and diet, certain diet considerations can help the body's immune system and directly affect acne treatment. A healthy diet is rich in fiber, salads, whole wheat bread, bran, or multi-grain foods which keep digestive systems moving fast. Eating different kinds of fruit daily provides body with antioxidants which help rid the body of acne. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water every day helps skin rid toxins and transport nutrients to skin.

Acne is a very common skin problem, with consequences that go beyond simply physical.Whilst teen acne is very common, people of all ages can be affected. In fact, it's estimated that 85% of people between the ages of 12 and 24 have suffered some type of acne. But zits don't just affect those going through puberty! Adult acne is also quite common - even those that didn't have much of a problem when they were growing up may find blemishes on their skin. And of the people who do get pimples, about a quarter get them on their body.
For many people, a good nutrition guide, combined with some skin management tips and products, and strategies to deal with scarring, can work wonders. There are certainly a lot of over-the-counter treatments around.

Hi susantayler, Love your signature.
I have been in Borneo for the past few weeks and really missed the laughs I get from reading the lies and propaganda posted by the acai people, and the funny thing is grown adults believe it, but a funny thing happened to me in Borneo on a jungle track in Sabah, near Kota Kinabalu, I had to give way to a flying elephant that had been eating acai berries, I rang the acai people and asked about this and they informed me this was normal - elephants can fly after a meal of acai berries. Wow what a product no wonder you people use it as a signature, I am going to write to Barack Obama and see if he is prepared to try giving it to his astronauts, he could save using a spaceship.

You can try this tips its very helpful:-
wash your face in the morning (great way to wake up, xD!!) and before ya go to bed. This is the best way without using any chemicals which will only make your acne worse!!
If you really want a cream buy "clearasil" products (they really work!!). They help a lot ,too, and they are the only products that ever worked for me .
hope this helped

Hi Tracey,
It's the Devil that makes me do it!!!
Years ago I went from my office to a laboratory taste panel, to do an evaluation on a new fish product for export.
As soon as I walked into the lab I caught sight of a sign that a lab assistant had put up where it had to be noticed, the sign said simply, " Those of us that know, are totally peed off by those of you that think you know", I thought the sign said it all.

Well first of all you need to wash your face with "cetaphil" at least twice a day. And what I find really works is either toothpaste that doesn't contain bleach or a product called "Clean & Clear Avantage acne spot treatment"Hope that helps!

Hi Guys,
There are a lot of myths about acne and you should familiarise yourself with them so at least you understand what doesn't cause acne, before searching for a cure.

Acne Vitamin Treatment...Two vitamins, namely, niacin and vitamin A have been used successfully to treat acne. Vitamin therapy should comprise the intake of 100 mg niacin, three times daily, and 50,000 international units of vitamin A, three times daily. Vitamin E, 400 mg, should be taken once daily. Continue this therapy for a month

To an extent personal hygiene and healthy diet helps to keep your face acne free. Though some people get acne due to illness or hormone problems.
