Recently broke out in rash a couple of times above the ankles on the inside of the legs, also getting leg cramps and alot of spider veins. Doctor said something about circulation? Anyone else have these symptoms? Kinda freaking out and didn't like the word circulation thrown out at me.

well, we'd have to know your overall health.. height, weight, active lifestyle or not?
the good news is varicose veins are routinely treated by specialists such as Dr. Navarro in Palm Beach.

The veins most commonly affected by this problem are the ones just under the skin, called superficial veins. Besides the obvious swelling of the veins, symptoms are aching legs, muscle cramps and a feeling of heaviness in the legs. Because of bruises, blood may leave the veins and ulcers on the leg may appear. Varicose veins may also appear around the anus, and are called hemorrhoids. For cure of it avoid standing for long periods of time. This will reduce pressure on the valves in the veins in your legs. While standing, get on your tip-toes by lifting your heels off the floor. Do this twenty times, relax for a few minutes, then repeat.

The ensuing vein problems range from being unsightly but purely cosmetic aggravations to being downright dangerous. The degree depends on which veins are affected. Two distinct networks of veins exist in the legs. One is close to the surface of the skin. This superficial system connects to the second deeper system. Small varicose veins, or spider veins, affect the superficial system and pose little threat to health. Larger varicose veins involving defects in the deeper valves are serious, requiring medical attention and sometimes surgery.

It happens to me when I used to stand for long periods of time. If you are on the heavier side, it worsens. Once these spider veins appear, there is no way that they disappear unless you take treatment.

Spider veins do have to do with poor circulation and that is likely to be the reason why you are getting cramps in your legs. Does your work require you to stand for long periods or sit for long hours? If so, take a break from either standing or sitting every two hours or so. You may want to try wearing compression stockings. This helps to alleviate the discomfort. Along with this, try taking Vein Matrix. This is a vein supplement which has helped me a lot. It consists of a combination of nutrients and herbs – Vitamin C, horse chestnut, diosmin, butcher’s broom, and more. All of these help to promote good circulation and strengthen the vascular system. Ask your doctor about it, especially if he has prescribed other drugs to you.
