I am going on my first big game safari, it starts on the 5/9/09. we are going to shoot as many elephants, rhinos, and cloudy leopards as we possibly can in 14 days, I can't wait. We have to be extremely careful though because some of the worlds most dangerous snakes reside in this jungle, not only the snakes with deadly poison but also the pythons. The cloudy leopard is a funny cat, it only weighs 50 lbs or so but it has teeth as long as a tiger's, 2 inches long, and the cat can run up and down trees, it also has a habit of running along on the under side of the branches and dropping down onto it's prey, could be scary as we hope to do some night hunting so we will have to be wary.
Yeah we have all armed ourselves with the best, and latest cameras, so I think we should get some great shots of animals in their natural habitat.
Could you imagine why people would actually hurt these wonderful creatures, you thought I was going to really shoot them didn't you?
My wife, my biologist son and his wife, she is Chinese and a lawyer will accompany me on this safari, and I can't wait to get started, we are having a Chinese BBQ in Sydney before we leave so I will be keen to see how the Chinese make BBQ's more healthy than us Aussies, I have been told they do.
Cheers
