I have no idea what to eat! During my first pregnancy a few years back I had no idea that I was gluten intolerant...but I had chronic yeast infections and diarrhea. I remember the nurses asking me if I had an autoimmune disorder. Now I know I did have something like that. This time around I know to stay away from gluten products which I have been doing for the past 9 months.
I am 8 weeks along in the pregnancy and am sooo hungry I could die. Nothing is satisfying. I want burritos, bagels, sandwiches. All the bread I try in the store tastes like chewy brown rice.
On top of the gluten situation I've got some sort of lactose intolerance. My gastro doctor thought I may but I didn't believe him until I went full force on the dairy for two weeks when I first found out I was pregnant. Oh the pain and bloating! I thought I would die.

So how does a pregnant woman eat without dairy or gluten?
I eat brown rice and quinoa like it's going out of style.
I used to love eggs until I became prego - gross.
My husband is allergic to all poultry and fish, not like it matters but it'd be nice to eat together.
We eat tofu and love tempeh but need new recipes.

I just need recipes. Easy, yummy tasty recipes for everyday people.

Thanks for your help. sad.gif
