Hi friends
Can anyone suggest healthy veggie food for ovulating. This is for one of my cousins who is under ttc and didnot get periods for the last 5 months. She is having irregular periods problems since 2 years and tried various medicines but of no use.
Please extend your helping hand to her by suggesting healthy food for ovulating and also for getting quality egg for conception.

The best thing she can do is to be sure to avoid all processed food, vegetarian or not. Also, she should be sure to be getting sufficient protein. Meat may not be appealing, but it can be the best way to give the body the adequate protein it needs for ovulation and implantation. If she decides to try a little meat, just be sure it is grass-fed organic. Is there any particular reason she does not get periods regularly? How is her weight?

Hi!

It is true that processed foods are not of any use instead they can harm you. So everyone should avoid them.

I don't know the details, but as a general advice I would recommend her to eat foods that are high in female hormones such as soy, kelp, celery. Avoid parsley. She should also take complex vitamins and eat foods rich in iron such as: meats, nuts, seeds, whole grains, oil, also ginger, clove, rosemary, pepper, cinnamon.)

She should not worry (I know it is hard) as stress can be messing her cycle up.

Secondly, I would recommend her exercising that gets her hormones in balance, such as these:

And lastly, I would suggest an ovulation stimulating herb (all natural) such as red clover infusion or tea, raspberry leaves infusion or tea and or black currant leaves tea or infusion. (This is concerning first half of the cycle, i.e. before estimated ovulation, or right away with amenorrhea every two weeks.)

Absence of menstruation usually happens because of stress, lack of vitamins, after strict diets, or hormonal imbalances.

It is all in your hand – my prayers to you!
