I have severe rhuematoid arthritis. last week, when I got my every Tuesday injection of methotrexate, I was very sick the following days.
The Doc had bumped up the dose from 15mg to 17mg. (Unknown to me at that time.)
This week I asked how much was this dose, and the nurse said 17mg! (Oh duh. so that's why I was so sick!)
This week I took it upon myself to counter-act the side effects and took an extra 1mg of Folic acid.
IT HAS WORKED! The 2 mg of Folic has made it possible for me to have energy and not get sick!
This may help others with this problem![/b]
