HA! I'm sorry, I didn't mean that in any sort of malicious way. I am also 5'3" and am currently 135 lbs. I've found that diets advertizing success are generally the success of taller women. Most recently, however, I saw a dieting success published with a woman at 5'3" and losing weight from 172 to 147. This was published as a dieting success.. that she had achieved her dieting goals. I'm sorry, this is completely not on the subject that you are discussing.. how to help you lose any more weight. The only thing I've found that has worked has been weight lifting to build muscle. The muscle burns calories for you, even when you're asleep and all that. It takes a lot less time. Denise Austin wrote Hit the Spot (and others) that shows some moves that will build muscle without the need of a gym. I am no perfect example, however. I just got back to my prepregnancy weight (with my second son at 19 months old already). I'm now heading into uncharted territory, still trying to lose the initial 50 lbs. I packed on in the 6 months after my father died when I was 14.

About the binges, those are physical needs for certain nutrients that are not being met. Re-evaluate your eating. Seriously. I found that swapping breakfast for dinner helped me immensly. I had been snacking all day long because 110 calories with cereal and milk was leaving me hungry.

About the running for miles, stop. Re-evaluate where you're going. Intensity training is more effective. Try the stair stepper. Try a different route faster. Greene and Oprah wrote a book together. Is it Bob Greene? In it, he describes how Oprah GAINED weight while she was running LONGER to train for the marathon, rather than just focusing on her intensity for a SHORTER period of time.

Denise Austin is an Inspirational author who gives advice about how to enjoy food with the varied recipes she offers.. Of course, the shopping and cooking can take up a lot of time. I've opted for recipes off the kraftfoods website.

About eating habits, so what? Focus on nutrition, and all this other stuff will just fade away. Are you getting enough fiber daily? Do you know how much fiber you need to get? Did you know that potatoes qualify for a starch? As does corn. And Fruit Loops have NOTHING of nutritional value in them unless you are diabetic and need some quick sugar....

I'm not sure if this is helping you any. I've kindof become a food addict myself, researching new recipes and just browsing the ailes in the grocery store - do you know where they stock the pita bread in your store? I finally figured that one out.. and found artichoke hearts too! I always thought the only way you could get artichoke hearts would be to order them on your pizza... Ha.

Change the consistant work out plan. Your body has adjusted to what you are going to do next. Maintaining weight is what every body does naturally and you've got to change that by changing what you're doing. Weights. Increased intensity. New recipes. Nutritional outlook on eating. (We're ALL on a diet - I learned that by checking the definition of diet in the dictionary)

And again, no offense meant by anything I've just typed. I tend to come off a bit strong and I don't mean to. Hey, and good luck! I've got the same height body as you and I'm rooting for ya!
