I know that this might not be the perfect place to ask this, but I wanted to know if anyone knew about it before I went to ask a doctor.

Lately, I've been having constant myoclonic twitches (more specifically, hypnagogic jerks). These happen normally when you're about to sleep and are perhaps forcing yourself to study 15 more minutes, but I've been having these all day long.
Oddly enough, these usually come when I'm thinking about past events that have gone wrong or what may go wrong in the future. For example, if I said something that might have been misunderstood by a friend and merely think about it, my whole body jerks forward. Usually, both shoulders quickly recede then return to their previous position (rapid contraction and immediate relaxation of muscles): just like a myoclonic twitch.
Yet, I have never been diagnosed with epilepsy.

Although it seems to me to be an unique thing to happen, has anyone ever had this happen with them?
