Sneh
Hi,

I find this forum very interesting and educative.

I sometimes wonder, why low fat or no fat food products (EG: Sour cream )hv high sodium content compared to regular Sour cream.

Check out the Nutrition info of Hood Sour cream 16 oz

Regular Soduim : 15 mg
Low Fat Sodium : 20 mg
Fat Free Sodium : 25 mg

I havent done much reaserach in this area, and want to know if anyone else have some more input...

Thanks,
Sneh..

hi sneh, welcome to the board!! that's an excellent question!!! i rarely pay attention to the sodium content. but now that you mentioned that, i also remember that my light cream cheese tastes saltier than the regular one. let me do some research too. tongue.gif
