Dear Peter, welcome to our board. Just wanted to add words of encouragement here.... most cases of secondary lactose intolerance are often temporary so hang in there. smile.gif You may definitely try lactose-free version of dairy or carry a bottle of lactose enzymes while you go out just in case. Many packaged foods contain trace amounts of lactose, so it's very important to read the ingredient list or simply stay away from them temporarily. The good news is: there are lots of non-dairy versions such as soy or rice based products on the market. wink.gif
