This article mentions frozen waffles as a bad choice for breakfast, however it all depends on the type you choose, and what you put on it. For example I buy Kashi Go Lean frozen waffles that has 6grams of fiber and 8grams of protein and is low in fat and sugar. Usually I just put a 1/2 Tbsp of natural fruit spread on it. I consider this a good option for breakfast and not a top 4 to avoid. There are also other brands of frozen waffles that are multigrained and whole wheat.

thanks for sharing michelle! although personally i feel that frozen waffles are too "processed", it is nice to know that they are healthier types out there wink.gif

by the way, has anyone tried any kashi breakfast cereal (not necessarily go lean)? how about cascadian farm organic cereal? any comments?

Yummy! But I think Nutella or some chocolate caramel sauce would be fantastic too! Not nearly as healthy fruit spread but pretty tastey in my opinion. Thanks for sharing! tongue.gif
