I have learned that to estimate energy requirement in pediatrics, who are failure to thrieve, we use Peterson Catch Up Growth Formula (1994). But, I think there is a limitation for this formula. It is only suitable for certain ages, let say a range between 1 to 3 years. So, can anybody share with me the exact range which Peterson Formula can be using?

Thanks so much in advanced.... rolleyes.gif

Hi Rachel, I'm sorry I won't be able to offer much help here as I'm not familiar with the formula you mentioned.
