Hi I'm new. I've read about Iron hema-foods and all I see is oysters, clams and other shellfish. I'm allergic though and not very fond of beef is there other hema-iron foods that i could add to my diet?

Hello and welcome. smile.gif
You are already familiar with some of the 'excellent sources' of Heme Iron, but have a look at this article
http://www.healthcastle.com/iron-anemia-diet.shtml
to find further excellent and good sources of both non-heme and heme iron. Also, check out the iron absorption enhancers (such as certain fruits and vegetables) and the inhibitors.
Happy eating and enjoy your culinary studies!
