While I agree that the best source to get your calcium, just like any nutrient, is from whole foods, I think supplements can go a long way in improving your health and filling in some nutritional gaps you may have. I take a calcium supplement that also has some magnesium and vitamin D and it has made a very noticable change in my health. I feel stronger, I have less pain and just feel better in general. I think a calcium supplement, along with calcium-rich foods, can really add a lot to your diet that would be difficult to get with the way most people eat on a daily basis.

Well I have been looking at a particular calcium supplement for sometime now but I read further into it and it says it contains certain trace minerals like copper and silicon. Are these saf to have in your supplement... are they in yours?
Neilmanello
Yes, these are completely safe to have in your calcium supplement. They are found in most calcium supplements. The one I take, CalMagD from Nutrilite, has 2 mg of Copper and a trace amount of silicon dioxide. This is the highest quality and safest calcium supplement on the market in my opinion.

Thanks for all of the spammy information Beachbum. It's great to see your "unbiased" opinion towards algaecal.
