Please can I READ your Nutrition Tidbits !!!!!! HELP !!

Posted by Jenna on 2008-02-19 12:49:44
Can you actually eat acai fruit? I've only seen acai juice in my grocery store..... I like David's comment on yogurt! I can now save money and just buy the "regular" yogurt!

I am not sure if the acai fruit itself is tasty enough to eat but I do know that it rots pretty quickly once off the tree. So most companies who sell acai products normally freeze, freeze dry or juice them right after harvesting (or at least get them in this form from the distributor).

I like to read nutrition tidbits

Posted by Pat on 2008-02-20 14:24:17
I prefer text. I've quit listening to your podcasts.

Posted by Jenna on 2008-02-20 14:40:22
people here are so funny. this is not for you if you don't have an ipod. healthcastle is good enough to listen to requests and introduce new features for readers who request audio program, and there are jerks who complain about new features. who on earth would write to radio and ask them to print radio shows instead?

Posted by Lauren Jenson on 2008-02-20 21:07:56
I agree. I love these podcasts! I wish the show is produced more often than once every 2 weeks! No one force you to listen - so quit complaining.

Jenna is right. It's odd how some people like to complain even if it's about noting. If you don't like the podcasts, don't listen. If I wanted to listen to someone complain about nothing, I would watch Seinfeld re-runs instead. :)

Oh my god her voice stings. Excellent information though.

Posted by Luke on 2008-02-25 16:43:11
Ella, that's not very nice. You should be ashamed of yourself for being superficial. Isn't excellent free information already enough?

I hate it when the information is in audio form on websites because I don't take details in well when listening. I prefer to read and preferably copy and highlight the key parts of the text. Text versions should be available for those who are deaf anyway.

tiggy, i'm with you. i can no longer take in information unless i can read it - getting too old or deaf or whatever. i have worked with the deaf myself and have found that hearing impaired are forgotten so much of the time. baby boomers aging may change this because many are getting hearing problems.

Luke, actually I'm not being superficial, her voice literally stings. I have bad ears, and listening to weird sounds/voices/pitches can actually physically hurt for me.

You guys are so disrespectful and ignorant! and obviously have no understanding of how copyright works. Take your irrelevant discussion elsewhere and stop disrespecting the people here in this community. I personally love this website and have learnt so much from Gloria and her team.

Go buy the book !!! This audio is just the teaser.............

I think she is close to the microphone, but we are blessed to have this helpful information.

I'm with the rest of you wanting text information. I'm too busy to sit and pay attention to audio info.
