True beauty comes from within, so the key to a healthy glow may possibly come from your fridge and pantry. Nutritionist Lisa Drayer, author of the Beauty Diet, tells us the secrets to look absolutely gorgeous from the inside out.
I enjoyed learning some new information from you tape. I've studied a lot of nutrition on my own and have always been fascinated with the healing properties of foods. Our bodies were designed to eat wholesome, natural foods and not rely on processed foods and synthetic vitamin supplements. We've gotten so far afield from this ancient wisdom. It is good you offer such a wise, helpful book. Since the body/mind/spirit connection is so important to be balanced in all three areas, I would love to see more education and volunteer pro-active opportunities for people to support saving our environment concerning air, water and organic farming because you can't have the best fruits and vegetables you talk about in your book unless we tie this into the whole picture being better stewards of the earth.

Hi I really like what you have to say and I can't wait to look into your book a little more. I totally agree that what we look like on the outside comes from what we put into our bodies. I try to eat as healthy as possible, and I found a great supplement so that I'm sure to get all the antioxidants I need. It called Proleva and I love that its made from all natural extracts. They say its equal to 1 1/2 lbs of fruit and contains the same nutrients as 5 glasses of red wine, 9 cups of green tea and 4 glasses of pomegranate juice, it also has super fruits. I've had friends comment on how great I look lately since taking it. They say I have a glow about me. I recommend this for sure. I make sure to eat a lot of fruits and veggies too cause it doesn't get any better than mother nature. Hope this helps others as much as it has me :-)

I recently ran out of my normal green tea, which is made in Japan. On a whim, I thought I would try Lipton's green tea. Bad idea. It tastes like tea you get at a Chinese dim sum restaurant. Back to purchasing Japan made green tea!

I can vouch for the Proleva product too! Got a tip from a friend about a year ago and began taking it (along with working out 2-3 days a week), my friends and family keep telling me how amazing I look (unsolicited)..so there's got to be some truth to that!

I also vouch for the quality of Proleva. According to the American studies, it is almost impossible to cover the gap of nutrients required by body from the food you eat, such as calcium, vitamins, fiber, and iron without help of supplements. This is why I take Proleva.
