I was told that bananas lower cholesteral, why ws that not one of the nine mentionned

Bananas weren't mentioned because they don't lower cholesterol all by themselves. All fruit and vegetables can help reduce LDL (lousy) cholesterol due to their fibre content.

all fruits and veggies can lower to some degree Lori M. did you hear the whole recording? dr brill said the 9 she picked were the most effective based on scientific research!!!!

Is garlic powder (not garlic salt) also effective as a cholesterol reducer if substituted for chopped garlic cloves while cooking?

I didn't quite get items #4 and #7. Could you kindly please advise, thanks. And by the way, is fish oil supplement really good in lowering triglycerides which I think is also associated with cholesterol.
